As you may know, we recently received a call to action with regard to a bill that was coming up for an almost immediate vote in the House of Representatives. It was requested that the members of IAFF Local F-282 contact their elected representatives to garner support for the bill. Because many of you did not provide an email address when you first registered on this site we weren't very successful getting the word out.

Because it is contrary to law to use government email accounts for ANY political purpose, please update your profiles with a non-government email address if you haven't done so already.  Free email addresses are usually available from your Internet Service Provider as well as HOTMAIL, YAHOO, AOL and GOOGLE. We will use the email address you provide us only to send you important information that has time constraints.  Thank you to those of you that have updated your email address as requested, your assistance is very much appreciated.
